Dolly Day 9-25-2026

During my mom’s last Christmas, we spent a lot of time together in the living room as a family watching Christmas movies and specials. My mom loved Dolly’s movies and Christmas shows, so we watched quite a few of them, some of them more than once. They were familiar and sweet and comforting to her, and when so much of life had become difficult, they were something that simply made her happy.

After my mom passed away on January 8, 2024, I found myself going back to those same Dolly movies and Christmas specials. Watching them felt a little bit like being back in that living room with her again.
