HOW IT WORKS

How our challenges/races work:

Step 1: Sign Up

Purchasing the challenge/race finisher rewards (shirts, medals, charms, or challenge coins) is the registration.

Please note that we often feature merch add-ons like stickers and tote bags that coordinate with the theme but are not challenge-specific and do not include event registration. Every item description lists what is included with purchase. 

Step 2: Join the Private Facebook Group (optional)

Join a group and check in often. Stay motivated with the help of new friends all over the world by sharing in our positive, inspirational, and non-judgmental community. We take pride in being a welcoming environment for ALL levels of fitness and walks of life.

Run Motivators Virtual Events Progress Group - our "all-purpose" group for all events and people

Women's Fitness Challenge Group - our ladies group for 100 mile challenge participants

Hiking Challenges - our group for challenges that are solely for hiking

Inivincible Challenge - our group specifically for the year-long Invincible Challenge

Step 3: Log Your Distance/Finish Time (optional)

Create a separate Log-Only account at RunMoResults.com using the same email address you used when you made your purchase.

Check the event description for start dates. Once the log opens, you can use it to manually log your daily distance (for challenges), download the printable color-in tracker (for challenges), or log one finish time (for races).

Our events are flexible. All forms of exercise count! Run, walk, bike, swim, skate, row, etc. 

Step 4: Get Your Rewards

We work on the honor system -- this means that you do NOT have to report completion to receive the items you paid for. Check your the order summary of your order confirmation email or event description for finisher rewards ship dates. Packets ship within 1 to 2 weeks of that estimated ship date. If marked "now shipping", packets ship within about 1 week of order OR when ALL items in your order are available if you have combined in-stock and preorder items.

 

What is a virtual race or challenge?

A virtual race or challenge is a fitness event that you do on your own time and on your own course. Track your distance and time with any smartphone app and get a great, fun race packet without having to travel anywhere. To add to the convenience of virtual events, Run Motivators does not require you to complete your event on a specific date. You can do the race any day you choose. Challenges, which are longer distance events, can be done in chunks over longer periods of time with no deadlines. 

Do I have to run?

No!! Run Motivators events are all-ability friendly. All distance-based activities count -- INDOORS OR OUTSIDE. Run, walk, swim, cycle, row, skate, etc. Some people even choose to use an activity conversion chart to convert yoga and other activities to distance. You can complete them in any way that keeps you motivated and crushing fitness goals! Stationary bikes, ellipticals, and treadmills all count!

How do I log my results?

We work on the honor system and do not require proof of event completion. If you would like to log your race results or use our challenge logs for your personal reference and enjoyment, click on the "Log Results" tab from our site menu or go to https://www.runmoresults.com 

If this is your first time using our log, you must click on "Register Account", which can be found under the Login button on that site. Register your account using the email address that you entered when you purchased your event.

Logging your results on the website will allow you to see how you rank among participants from around the world. It will also keep track of all of your Run Motivators race finish times so you can evaluate your progress from one event to the next. 

Do I have to log my results to receive the rewards I paid for?

We work on the honor system. YOU DO NOT NEED TO LOG YOUR RESULTS TO RECEIVE THE REWARDS YOU PAID FOR. It will ship around the estimate ship date listed in the order summary of your order confirmation email. Please note that rewards may not ship right away as many of our events are in preorder status for a future ship date. 

When will I receive my order?

HOW WE SHIP

Pre-registration/preorder items will ship according to the prescheduled shipping window. Just like a live race, we offer pre-registration periods to give our participants an opportunity to guarantee their spot in an upcoming event. Ship dates are listed very clearly in event titles, on each event's registration page, and in your order confirmation email under the Order Summary. Note that these are ESTIMATED shipping windows and may vary 1-2 weeks from actual ship dates based on current manufacturing speeds and world events.

Items marked "now shipping" in the item title are in stock and are shipped within 2 - 10 business days of order UNLESS they are ordered together with preorder items.  Despite the uncontrollable and ever-increasing shipping costs, we ship your items at a discount to you. In order to keep your shipping costs as low as possible, your order ships when all items in your packet are in stock. If you would like in-stock items to ship ahead of any pre-order/pre-registration packets, please order them in a separate transaction.  

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Please note that our shipping fees do not include customs fees. Customs fees and taxes assessed at the border are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your local post for clarification of these fees. 

Do I have to complete the entire event distance at one time?

No. If you cannot complete the distance for the event all at once, feel free to break it up into more manageable chunks. 

Who can participate in these events?

Anyone who is healthy enough to complete the distance may participate. As with any exercise program, please get clearance from your physician prior to beginning. Minors should be accompanied by a guardian during participation.

We realize that everyone has different abilities and we welcome them all. Our events are bicycle and wheelchair friendly!
